Finals Week Booking Announcements:

As the Spring 2026 semester comes to an end and Finals week is in effect, the Resourse Room will be working with limited staff. Please read announcements below.

• During the week of May 18th, 2026 - May 22nd, 2026 students will only be allowed to do same day check-out and return.

Policies

UNDERGRADUATE POLICIES

The following only applies to Undergraduate Production classes. For IMA MFA Integrated Media Arts Rules & Procedures please see further down the page.

• Equipment must be picked up on Thursdays and returned on Mondays.
• You are fully responsible for the equipment you borrow. Replacements and repair costs are determined solely by the Technical Director of the Department of Film and Media.
• Bookings must be made at least three business days in advance of the pickup date.
• The deadline for Booking Online is Monday 11:59pm.
• Pick up can be scheduled between 9:30am to 12pm and 1pm to 4:30pm on Thursdays.
• Equipment may be returned anytime between 9:30 to 12pm and 1 to 4:30pm on Mondays.
• Equipment may be reserved up to three times per student per semester.
• Request only the equipment and supplies you need. Last minute additions and cancellations deny others the use of the equipment and can come with fines.
• Students must present their Hunter ID card or Digital ID card when picking up equipment.
• The name on the booking must match the ID card. The student who made the booking must be present during the pickup or we will not be able to give the equipment out.
• If you fail to pick up equipment at the scheduled time and date, you will incur a fine of $10. You may cancel your reservation in person, by email, or by phone by 5pm the previous day.
• You are required to thoroughly check all equipment at pick up. We are not responsible for any malfunctions or missing pieces once you leave the office.
• We reserve the right to cancel any equipment loans if we are not fully satisfied with your competency and proficiency in handling the equipment.
• A fine of $25 is applied for every day that equipment is late.
• If fees are incurred you will be placed on the STOP list. If you are on the STOP list you will not be able to borrow equipment. If escalated, you may not receive a final grade from your professor, you may not be able to register for future classes and graduation, and security will consider any non-returns to be stolen.

IMA GRADUATE POLICIES

The following only applies to IMA MFA Integrated Media Arts. For Undergraduate Rules & Procedures please see further up the page.

• Pickup/Return schedule is Monday - Friday by appointment.
• Students and faculty are to book equipment online at hcfmresource.getconnect2.com. 
• Bookings must be made at least two days in advance of the pickup date. 
• Equipment is distributed and must be returned between the hours of 9:30am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-4:30pm
• Request only the equipment and supplies you need. Last minute additions and cancellations deny others the use of the equipment and may incur fines.
• Student must present their Hunter ID card or Digital Hunter ID card when picking up equipment.
• The name on the booking must match the ID card. The student who made the booking must be present during the pickup or we will not be able to give the equipment out.
